ATLANTIC FLIGHT.
PLANNED BY GERMAN WOMAN. NEW YORK TO BERLIN. (Received Wednesday, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 29. Thea Basetie, a German aviatrix, has announced that she will make a non-stop flight from New York to Berlin in a Bellanca, singlemotored monoplane, accompanied by a navigator and co-pilot, starting shortly after June 10. The flight is being financed by a group of New York business men, who are contributing fifty thousand dollars. — (Australian Press Association.)
