At the Roma Circuit Court the jury brought in a verdict of manslaughter with a strong recommendation to mercy, duo to provocation, against the brothers Arthur and Robert Laycock, charged with the murder of Frederick Turvey in a drunken brawl at Injure on February 3. Both were sentenced to live years’ imprisonment.—(P.A.)
