PROGRESSIVE PAIRS TOURNEY YESTERDAY’S RESULTS A progressive pairs tournament was commenced on tho Masterton Bowling Club’s green yesterday, and will bo continued to-day and on Monday. Play will commence to-day at 9 a.m. Following is the result of yesterday's piny:— First Round.—Gray and Ciiapman beat Taylor and Blane; Wall and Reid lost to Cumming and Haycraft; Deuben and Hendry beat Cotter and Kilgour; Guild and Lett beat McCracken and Williams; Barker and Spaekman lost to E. Perry and C. Perty. Second Round.—Donboo and Chapman beat McCracken and C. Perry; Guild and Reid lost to Perry and Blanc; Barker and Hendry beat Taylor and Haycraft; Gray and Lett beat Cumming and Kilgour; Wall and Snaekman beat Cotter and Williams. Third Round.—Barker and Chapman, beat Cumming and Williams; Gray and Reid lost to Cotter and Perry; Wall and Hendry beat McCracken and Blane; Dcnbee and Lett beat E. Perry and Haycraft; Gulid and Spaekman beat Taylor and Kilgour.
