MASTER’iON STOCK SALE Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: A medium entry of sheep and a line of steens were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. There was a keen demand throughout the sale, with prices on a par with recent sales. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-oper-ative,Distributing Co., Ltd., report on their Masterton sale as follows: We offered only a small yarding of sheep and cattle to a good attendance and hid a total clearance at the following prices: 50 fat ewes, 21s 6d; 81 shorn wether lambs, 18s 6d; 17 2j-yea.r and SJ-yoar Hereford steers, £8 13s; 15 bullocks, coloured, £8 10s; 13 2<J-year steers, coloured, £6 15s; 3 S.H. steers, £8 15s; 2 weaner Jersey heifers £2, The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Association Ltd., report: We offered a. fairly good entry of all classes of lambs and a few small pens of wethers. Lambs again met with a ready market, white faces selling on. about a par with last sale. All sorts of black faced lambs brought exceptional prices.
