CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.

SEQUEL TO MOTOR COLLISION ON MOUNT BRUCE ROAD JUDGMENT FOR PLAINTIFF At the Magistrate’s Court at Masterton last week, Robert Boyce, farmer, of Masterton, claimed from Walter Hall Webb (of the Webb Transport Company) of Woodville, motor transport contractor, damages amounting to £7B 10s. The claim arose out of a collision on Mount Bruce Road on November 27 last between a car driven by plaintiff and a motor lorry belonging to defendant and driven by his servant. Plaintiff alleged that the lorry was so negligently and unskilfully driven that it collided with plaintiff’s car. .Mr 8. L. P. Free, S.M., presided. Mr C. C. Marsack appeared for plaintiff and Mr C. A. Laughnan, of Palmerston North, for defendant. Judgment was given in favour of plaintiff for £6O 10s, with costs amounting to £8 16s 6d.
