NELSON SYSTEM.
CABINET CONSIDERATION PROMISED. (By Telegraph.—" The Age” Special.) WELLINGTON, November 9. The Minister of Education was asked in the House to-night whether he would insert a clause in the Education Amendment Bill to prevent any controlling authority, board, or school committee from preventing the Nelson system of religious instruction being put into effect in schools. The Hon. R. A. Wright replied that as the question had been raised, he would endeavour to find out the mind of Cabinet on the subject.
