KAIPARORO RIFLE CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING.
SUCCESSFUL YEAR REPORTED.;,
The annual meeting of the Kaiparoro . Defence Bifle Club was held in the Kaiparoro Public Hall on Monday last. Mr C. Welch presided over a fair attendance.
The club has had a very good, year , and has made several improvements to the range, including the installation* of telephones and the addition .of eight and nine hundred yards* range. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the donors of trophies, who are as follow: Mr A. H. Herbert, Mr H. E. Greathead and the N.y.C.A., Eketahuna; Mr J. Bradbury, Mt T. Wydh» m i Mr A. J. Welch and, Mr B. J. King, Masterton; Mr W. Simpson and N. Brown, Eketahuna; and Mr N. Coulter and Mr Brace were thanked, fur trophies promised for the ensuing season. Messrs C. Welch,. J. Diek, V». Casity, G. Dick, P. Hansen and G. Hessen were also included in the vote of thanks to donors of trophies. The membership fee for the coming season will be 10/ as previously and ammunition is to be sold at cost price. Mr A. J. Welch was appointed patron to the club and, Mr W. Simpaon waa elected honorary member
It was proposed that the range be opened on Saturday, October 9: During the meeting numerous vicepresidents were elected; Mr O. Welch was appointed president for the coming season, and Mr J. Dick range officer and coach.,
