INTER-CLUB COMPETITION. DUNEDIN TAKES FIRST PLACE. The annual inter-club photographic competition conducted by the leading clubs in New Zealand, was judged in Wellington yesterday. Each society displays twelve exhibits. The exhibition has been held for the past six years. The centre winning the competition is declared the champion centre for the year, and the pictures are sent round to the centre of each competing lociety, with the idea of raising the « f qphJard of work throughout New Zealand. For the past few years Invercargill has held pride of place, but this year the Dunedin Society has been adjudged winner of the competition with 1127 points. The Wellington Camera Circle comes a close second with 1119 points, Auckland third 1018 points, and Invercargill fourth 1011 points. The others follow: Wellington Amateur Photographic Society 928 points, Christchurch 900, Masterton 766, and Timaru 696 points. The Masterton Club, a young society, has considerably improved its position compared with the previous competition.
