ARE YOU A MASON?
D. O’CONNOR CO. It is always a source of pleasure to know that Mr D. B. O’Oonnor intends visiting Masterton, because his name is n synonym for everything that is best in the stage world. As a laugh-provoker, brilliantly played, “Are You a Mason,” to be presented by Mr O’Connor’s new musical comedy company at the Opera House on Tuesday next, has seldom, if ever, had an equal. Bristling with excruciatingly humorous situations, it starts with a cleverly conceived idea, and through each act quick episodes of fun chase each other rapidly along. If the playgoer is able to answer its query in the affirmative then he should see “Are You a Mason?” if only tojaugh at the ruthless methods with which the author* burlesques, fox' the sake of making them frankly amusing, some ©f the imagined mysteries of the craft. To that playgoer who must say nay in answer to the query, “Are You a Mason?” it will cpmmond itself no less strongly for a multitude of reasons, all beginning and ending with that magic.' talisman of enjoyment —a good laugh. Seats may be reserved at the Arts and Crafts on Friday.
