TAHITI’S COUP.
SAILS WITHOUT 31 OF CREW. HOLD UP NOT SANCTIONED BY UNION. (Received Monday, 7.15 p.in.) • SYDNEY, Jan. 4.—lt transpires that the Tahiti left 31 members of her crew behind.' The coup is an extreme blow to the extremists which it is hoped will have a salutary effect. It is understood that the Union did not sanction the action of the men in attempting to hold the vessel up — (P.A.)
