DOMINION’S BORROWING. £530,000,000 OWING. (“The. Age” Special.) WELLINGTON, July 28.—1 n the House, Sir James Parr agreed that there was a necessity to watch borrowing in New Zealand, because there was a debt owing by the State, local bodies and individuals of £530,000,000. However there was 40s in the pound in assets.
