Masterton. —Mr B. Brown reports as follows:— March 21.—Barograph 30.32, fairly steady; shade temperature, maximum 61.4, minimum 49.4, terrestrial 44.4, bright sunshine nil. March 22.—Barograph 30.25, falling; shade temperature, maximum 64, minimum 38.4, terrestrial 27, frost .5, bright sunshine Saturday 3hrs 55min, Sunday lOhrs 30min. ' Weekly Report. Highest maximum shade temperature 76.4, lowest minimum 33.4, extreme range 43, rain 4 points, frosts 5, bright sunshine 52hrs 30min, one sunless day. The barometer has been high throughout the .week; there has been very little wind.
