OPERA HOUSE. "STORM DAUGTHER” AGAIN TO-NIGHT. Having experienced a successful opening at the Opera House last evening before a large attendance "The Storm Daughter," Universal’s latest photodrama of thriMs and action, will be shown again to-night in conjunction tfith an attractive supporting programme. The thrilling story of the "Storm Daughter" is effectively enhanced by most spectacular settings including amongst a great number of other highlights, a mutiny on a sailing vessel and a tempest, in which the crew are forced to take to the lifeboats and are cast ashore on a desert island. The underlying theme is the power of a woman to sacrifice her own desires that others may be spared. When this desire is inspired by hatred engendered by ill treatment, the situation is made the more tense, and this is the emotion that Priscilla Dean who is heading a brilliant cast of players interprets. COSY DE LUXE. ‘Heading a programme of exceptional merit at the Cosy theatre this evening is the First National photoplay de luxe "The Perfect Flapper,” an adaptation to the screen of the highly successful and popular story by Nancy Ainslee. This is said to be even a greater triumph for Colleen Moore than was "Flaming Youth." It contains an imposing array of stars in Miss Moore’s support. It has moments of magnificent drama, scenes of extraordinary depth and feeling, and is really remarkable in its perfection of detail and the lavishness Of its settings, forming in all a most entertaining drama. This week’s chapter of the popular and vigorous "Fast Stoppers" promises to eclipse all its predecessors from the viewpoint of fast action romance. A Gazette and comedy are also included.
