COSY DE LUXE. ‘ * FIRE PATROL ’ ’-—TO-NIGHT. Heading a very fine programme at the Cosy to-night is the thrilling “Fire Patrol” a Master Photoplay which is a picture that achieves a different appeal for every type of theatre-goer, welding them all into a consistent narrative. There is redblooded adventure for those who crave only this sort of entertainment. It. divulges the use of the Coflst Fire Patrol for the first time in pictures. Developing from this novelty is a terrific explosion at sea, and, later, a fire to which the fire bouts respond in a frenzy of activity. The departure of this valiant little fleet, its picturesque subduing of the fire in mid-ocean, and its return with the survivors of the wreck, form a tense bit of drama which never lowers its suspense. Thrills throughout to the accompaniment of tense drama is the course of events An excellent supporting programme is included. OPERA HOUSE. TO-MORROW FINE PBOGRA MME. The dramatic intensity of life at sea in the day of the sailing vessel is the theme of the splendid Universal production which starts at the Opera House to-morrow evening. The realism so obtained enhances the necessary atmosphere of the dramatic story unfolded by Priscilla Dean and the very capable company that supports her. Tom Santschi has the principal male role, and others in the company are Bert Roach, William B. Davidson, J*. Farrel McDonald, Cyril Chadwiek, Harry Mann, George Kuwa and Alfred Fisher. "The,Storm Daughter” is a tale of the adventurous life led aboard ship in those days. Thrilling scenes too numerous to mention, follow each other in rapid succession and finally culminate in a speetaeular climax, forming a picture that has been rated “the best in years.” Included , in an excellent supporting programme is another fine chapter of the thrilling serial “The Iron Man,” which is being shown for to-morrow, Thursday and Friday nights instead of on Saturday night.
