MEETING AT DUNEBIN. BOSE IN GOOD FORM. DUNEIN, Mar 14- —A meeting in henour of the Australian athletes was held under the auspices of the Otago centre, in good weather. The attendance was about 20W. 100 yards.—N. J. Grehan (Aust.) 1, Brownlie (Gant.) 2, Fountain 3. 10 sees One mile handicap.—B. A. Bose (Mast.) ser. 1, G. B. Hyde (Aust.) 2, Brown (O) 3. A great race; won by 10 yards; time 4.30. 880 yards.— W. M. Whyte -(Aust.) scr. 1, Sounness 2, Burney 3. Whyte jogged in an easy winner in 2.4 1-5. 440 yards.—Whyte scr. 1, Duff 2, Walker 3 Won by five yards. One mile relay.—Australia (Hydd, Whyte, Grehan, Parker) scr 1, ’VaYsity No. 1 2. Five teams started. Australia won by 20 lengths. Time 3.48.

One mile cycle.—C. Burness ser. (Aust.) 1, Wells 2. Seven starters. Burness won by three lengths; time 2.23 2-5.

Burness fell in the seventh lap of the three miles handicap, but continued, which was greatly appreciated by the spectators. He was unplaced.
