A meeting of the Wairarapa Cricket Association was held last night, Mr T. Voyce being in the ehair. It was decided to play the Oddfellows v. Druids postponed match on Saturday, and the balance of the teams play in the “knock out” competition. It was left with the chairman and secretary to arrange senior fixtures after the next, round. CHRISTCHURCH, Mar. 12.—The New Zealand Cricket Council has appointed Patrick (Canterbury) captain of the New Zealand team for the first test match against the Victorians. The team will assemble at Wellington next Thursday. C. G. Wilson will act as manager in Wellington, and Hi M.
