VISIT TO MASTERTON.

TO-DAY’S ARRANGEMENTS. The nine chiefs from Western Samoa who are visiting New Zealand, arrive in Masterton from Wellington this morning. They will be met at the station by the civic authorities and will be motored to the Council Chambers, where they will be tendered a civic reception. At lliey will be entertained by the Mhyor mid Councillors at luncheon in the Hotel Midland, and at 12.30 pan. will leave for “Tyneside” staThreugh the courtesy of Mr J. Caselberg, a shed full of dry sheep have been held for the purpose of allowing the visitors to witness a shearing shed in full operation. After the demonstration, the party will return in time to join the southward express for Wellington.
