Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville fat stock sale on Wednesday:*—A small yarding of both sheep and cattle met with a keen demand. EKET AHUNA SALE. Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-op. Assn., Ltd., report that a fair entry of sheep and a few pens of cattle came forward to the usual attendance. The market for lambs and wethers was firm and all were sold, values being equal to recent sales.
