JOHNSONVILLE SALK. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville fat stock sale on Wednesday:*—A small yarding of both sheep and cattle met with a keen demand. The quality was good throughout, and prices showed an advance on previous week’s quotations. Quotations: —Bullocks, .£lO, £lO 12/6, £lO 17/6,‘£11 2/6 to £l2 12/6; ’cows, £7 17/6; vealers, £2 11/, .£2 12/, £2 13/, : £2 16/, £2 18/, to £3; wethers, good 34/8, 35/, 35/3, 38/6, to £2 1/; lighter 38/6; ewes 23/3, 26/9, ' 27/1, to 27/9; lambs 30/, 31/6 to 32/. EKET AHUNA SALE. Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-op. Assn., Ltd., report that a fair entry of sheep and a few pens of cattle came forward to the usual attendance. The market for lambs and wethers was firm and all were sold, values being equal to recent sales. Prices:—4o 2 and 4-th wethers 28/7, 74 2-th do. 27/5, 6 b.f. do. 24/6, 16 fat do. 32/, 15 fat ewes 26/, 22 empty do. 19/, 43 do. 9/6, 18 do. 6/, 16 ewes in lamb to Romney 13/1 j 22 m.s. lambs 16/1, 9 do. 15/8, 1 do. 15/6, 10 do. 10/6, 20 f and f do. 20/10, 12 b.f. lambs 15/3, 24 lambs 15/1, 2 do. 12/6, 1 do. 2/6. Cattle: 18 heifers r.w. Jersey bull £2, 2 fwd cows £3.
