Messrs. W. and G. Foyle, Ltd., the well-known London booksellers, have received a letter from a woman in Canada who, asks if they hove any book that would tell her how she could make her husband love her and be as true to her as when they first got married. A minor smuggling dodge to which the customs arc now “wise,” is to place the contraband expensive cigars, certain kind of jewellery, scents, etc., into a fair-size book hollowed out in the middle.
