The Wairarapa Fanners'’ Co-op. Assn., Ltd., report on the Alfredton sale held on Friday as follows:—a fairly good entry of sheep came forward, the bulk of the yarding comprising the special entries of ewes in lamb and hoggets, which we sold in conjunction with the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company on behalf of Mr Colin McKenzie. There was a good attendance of buyers and a good sale resulted, prices for ewes (which were better than usual saleyards offerings) showing a good increase on recent sales. We report (account Mr Colin McKenzie) 94 4-th ewes r.w. Romney rams 31/9; IG7 2-th do 30/; 141 6-t*i do 28/; 275 4 ands-yr do 26/; 14G ewe hoggets 20/6; 134 wether do 19/6; account other vendors 117 2-th to 5 yr ewes r.w. S.D. rams 20/7; 40 4-th wethers 31/1; 36 b.f. ewes in lamb 26/; 19 small lambs 13/7.
