THE Wairarapa Age MORNING DAILY. TUESDAY, MAY 6, 1924. VISITS TO THE FLEET.

The Railway Department has certainly made good amends to the young people of the Wairarapa for the week’s loss of time while the squadron was in Wellington. With commendable energy and an evident desire that nobody should be deprived of the privilege of visiting the great ships, the Department has arranged a very complete schedule of excursions, so that in the long run practically everybody who wishes to see the ships may do so. The final schedule of these excursions, telephoned to us about midnight by Mr G. L. Stewart, secretary to the Education Board, provides reasonable facilities for all the young people who wish to visit Wellington. After Weda nesday, they will have no reason to - remember that there was ever a railr way strike.
