A CARTERTON MOVE.
FOR NEW SCHOOL. (Our Travelling Reporter.) A meeting of those interested in a central school site for Carterton was held last evening, when it was decided to organise a queen carnival to raise the necessary funds. An organiser was engaged and it was decided to launch the scheme right away.
The following executive committee was appointed: Messrs W. A. Kitchen W. C. Deller, G. Hughan, F. E Tyler W. .Sorensen, J. Fleming, L. H. Smart. F Wish, A. Philpotts, J. Lawrence, L Aplin, W. Howard Booth, H. Hall and W. Fisher; Mr R. G. Vile ch ’rc'.sti: Mr A. C. Tucker treasurer.
