DELINQUENT STUDENTS.
ALLEGED FORGERY. OF EXAMINATION PAPERS. Auckland, Feb. 21.—Six students of the Auckland Training College, whose names were ordered not to be published, appeared at the Police Court charged with having forged exanij papers in the examination for teachers’ D certificate. Counsel for the Crown opposed the application for an adjournment till the Court of Appeal decided whether a case had been made out against Dunedin students similarly prosecuted. After hearing argument, Mr Poynton, S.M., decided that, as there was only one and he resided in Auckland, the matter could be held in abeyance pending the decision of the Appeal Court. The case was adjourned.—(P.A.)
