MOTOR COLISION.

NAYLOR v. COOMBE. DAMAGES AWARDED PLAINTIFF. In tho Magistrate’s Court at Masterton last week, Lewis Maston Naylor proceeded against James Coombe (stock agent for the W.F.C.A.) to recover damages in connection with a motor collision on the Bowen road, near Eketahuna. The W.F.C.A. brought a cross-action against Naylor. After hearing the evidence His Worship reserved his decision, which was delivered on Saturday. Mr Free in his judgment, said that Naylor was entitled to recover as damages the cost of repairing his car, £22 17s Id, and he would also allow him £lO general damages to cover depreciation and loss of use of his car while being repaired, together with costs. In the action of W.F.C.A. v. Naylor, judgment would be for defendant, with costs of court only, if any. Mr B. McKenzie appeared for Mr Naylor, and Mr Biss for Coombe and the W.F.C.A.
