FARMING NOTES.
A representative meeting of suppliers of the Rata Dairy Co., on Saturday decided unanimously in favour of the Dairy Control Bill. In the school children classes at the Wairarapa Show, Mr s T. H. Hughes offers prizes of 10/6 each for the exhibitors securing most points in the primary and secondary school children ’s classes, no entry fee. Entries close on October 10. The sheep dog trials to be held at Carterton on October 24 and 25 at the Wairarapa and E.C. P. and A. (Society’s show promises, judging by the number of entries, to eclipse anything of the kind ever attempted. Entries close on October 10.
