Harley - Davidson At the New Brighton Beach Spe ed Tests, held on Tuesday, May 32, F. Haworth, on a Harley-Davidson, established the fastest time ever put up by any motor cycle in New Zea land, covering over 90 miles per hour. L. C Monkman, also on a Harley-Davidson, created a New Zealand fastest time record for private ownrs. In the Pioneer Club’s (Christchurch) Side-car Trial in June the Harley Davidson was First and Second and was awarded 1500 more points than any other machine.
