BULGARIAN REVOLT.
COMMUNISTS AND AGRARIANS SUPPORT A REPUBLIC. (Press Association —Copyright.) (Received 11.55 p.m.) London, Sept. 23.—1 n consequence of communistic riots the Government has declared a state of war. The “Sunday Express’s” Belgrade correspondent states that reports from Bulgaria indicate that the revolt movement is purely by peasants. A revolutionary force estimated at 500,000 has conquered three districts, surrounded and captured a whole cavalry regiment and a division of artillery.— (A. and N.Z.) A SOVIET REPUBLIC. (Received 11.55 p.m.) Athens, Sept. 23.—Cipher messages from Sofia state that a Bulgarian Soviet Republic has been proclaimed ' in Novo Zagora, Carna and Kazanlik, to which the communists'and agrarians arc giving support.
