HORACE HUNT CONCERT.

INTERESTING PROGRAMME. Mr and Mrs Horace Hunt are to give a concert of piano and vocal music at the Opera House on Monday, Oct. 1. Three of the.popular and very attractive pieces to be played by Mr Hunt are directly inspired by nature — 4 4 The Sea” by the Finnish composer Palmgren, represents the ocean in an angry mood. Mightly music sweep up and down the key board in a manner vividly suggestive of mountainous -waves dashing on a rugged coast. ‘ 1 Night in Mar ’’ by the same composer, is a complete and -wonderful contrast placid ami restful as the other is tempestuous and violent. The third 44 nature piece” 'Liszt’s remarkable 44 Waldesrauchen” (In the forest) embodies the most amazing moods sometimes whispering delicately, sometimes thundering and crashing as in a violent storm. Mi>s Tinelda Faina, a gifted Wellingt- r. pupil of Mr Hunt ’s, will assist. Tickets 3s (reserved 1 ) and 2s are obtainable without tax at the Aits and Crafts, where seats may be reserved without extra cltargc.”
