SOLDIERS’ SPORTS.
Every returned soldier and citizen of . Masterton should make a point of being present at to-day’s sports at Solway showgrounds, when a most exciting and amusing programme of events will be presented. Everything is in readiness to carry the" items through at express speed, s o the public will not suffer a dull moment from start to finish. The wild pigs from South Wairarapa will prove the hottest propositions to the hunters. The various side-shows and competitions are most complete and good prizes are to be won. A large fleet of motor lorries and taxi cars will be at the service of the people at very reasonable charge. The following programme of music will be played by the Municipal Band: March, Knight of Honour; valse. Love’s Entreaty; fox trot, Nestle m Your Loving Arms; march, Field Day; selection, Beauties of Ireland; valse, Tripoli; fox trot, Sheik; onestep, Old Man Jazz; valse, Sunset; March, Fearless Footsteps.
