MASTERTON- SALE. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report:—We had a fair yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle, which we submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was much better than at recent sales, and we disposed of our whole entry at auction at the following prices: Good 5-year ewes 15s, forward store ewes 8s 6d to Us, cull ewes 3s 6d, woolly lambs (medium) 8s 9d, cull lambs 3s, Southdown rams 2% to 3f guineas. The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-op. Association, Ltd. (Stock Department), held their usual weekly saie at Columba road yards yesterday: We offered 2875 sheep to a good attendance, and were successful in placing 258'1. There was a keen demand for. all classes, and there was an unsatisfied demand for breeding ewes. We quote the following prices:—Four-tooth wethers 16s Id, 2-tooth wethers 14s 9d, 2-tooth ewes las 6d to IDs 6d, 4 and syr breeding ewes Ils, 12s 6d, 15s sd, 14s 2d, 14s 4d, 14s (id; woolly w.f. lambs 12s 6d, 12s lOd; shorn 10.
