THE PRINCE IN INDIA.
(Received 10.30 pan.) Delhi, March 13.—The Prince of Wales visited Kapurthala and was warmly welcomed by the Maharajah. Though the visit was informal, the streets were decorated and lined with State troops. The Prince was cheered by large crowds on the housetops and in the streets.
Later h© visited the people’s fair and attended a State banquet in the beautifully illuminated palace. This was the last brilliant function in the Indian States, and the Prince has now left for Dehradun.—(Reuter.)
