PERSONAL NOTES
Mrs Gerald Mawlcy, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Mr and Mrs E. W. Payton have left for the South Island. . Mr and JVlrs 11. P. Harrison, Essex street, are visiting Wellington. Mrs Roberts, Whakatane, who has been visiting her sisters, the Misses Cameron, Cole street, has returned. Among tho visitors to Wellington from Masterton aro Mrs C. F. Vallance, Mrs Milne, Mrs Lord, tlw Misses Mcßae and Miss Mace. Tho remains, of the late Mrs Graham were interred in the Masterton cemetery on Friday afternoon. There was a goqrjly following of residents to pay a last tribute, to the memory of a lady who was held in the very highest esteem. A pleasant and enjoyable garden party was given the ladies of tho Plunket Society by Mrs H. G. Williams, at Lansdowne, on Thursday. Mrs Williams made a most estimable hostess, and everybody present thoroughly appreciated her hospitality. Sister Constance, who has been working in connection with the Kunpuni Methodist Church for some years, will conduct a farewell service to-morrow evening. On Monday evening a social gathering will be held in the church, to which friends 01 Sister Constance are specially invited.
