PRINCE OF WALES
TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND. (Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) Received December 18. 1 D.m. LONDON,\Dec. 17. No definite arrangements have yet been made for the Prince of Wales" t trip to Australia and New Zealand. It is understood that he goes aboard a warship. The / announcement wat made informally/> when presiding at p. council meeting of a hospital fund, ir, order to explain why he would be absent ■ from the council meeting ic May. The Prince added: "His Majesty is sending me to ; Australia and New Zealand, and this will necessitate my leavmg about March." The Prince will visit all the principal towns in Australia and New Zealand, including the West Australian mining districts. He also goes inland over the States to inspect agricultural; pastoral, and other industries. He will participate in bush sports, and it is believed that the Felton-Barry sculling match will be fixed to coincide with the Prince's stay in Sydney. The Prince intends to. make an extensive tour of New Zealand, including the beauty spots. It is possible that he will cross the Pacific and return through Canada.
