RIFLE SHOOTING
WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION'S MEETING. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) The Wellington Championship Meeting, which is to be held by the Wellington Rifle Association at Trentham at New Year, promise's to be a successful one. Arrangements are well forward. Mr Harry Hawthorn, who represented New- Zealand at Bisley some years" ago, and who is a rifle shot of great experience, has consented to act as chief range officer, so smooth running on the mounds should be assured. Generous support is still coming in, and the meeting should be one of the best district meetings ever held in New Zealand.
