ADDINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHBISTCHUBCH, Last Night. The Addington market sale to-day, being double in view of Christmas, was marked by very heavy entries, particularly of fat sheep and lambs, there being ten races of sheep, com pared with seven the previous sale, and 3389 lambs, as against 1240. The lasted until nearly 10 p.m. Shorn sheep: Large entry, with spiritless sale, which, however, improved as it progressed. Backward lines were hard to Ordinary twotooth wethers 19s 7d to 22s 6d, good two tooth wethers 23s 3d to 29s 3d, two, four, and six-tooth wethers 26s to 30s fid, four, six, and eight-tooth wethers 27s to 30s 3d, ordinary twotooth ewes 20s 3d to 23s 6d, good two-tooth ewes 25s to 29s 3d, sounduouthed woolly ewes 375, sound and calling-mouthed ewes and lambs 17s Id to 21s lOd, two, four, and six-tooth jwes 345.

Fat lambs: The sale opened, in spite jf the largo entry, at rates nearly on i par with the preceding sale, but as is butchers' requirements wore met he demand eased very markedly, •jrime sorts showing a decline of about is per head and medium 5s on the pre-, ceding sale. Choppers to £l4, heavy baconers £8 to £9 9s, medium £0 5s ;o £7 15s, lighter £5 5s to £5 15s. Average price per lb lid to lljd. Store pigs: Medium, entry, strong demand.
