CARTERTON
A mild sensation was caused on Wednesday morning when it became known that Detective-Sergeant Mason, of Wellington, in company with Constables Miller and Gregor, had arrested a well-known townsman, Howard Harold Armstrong on four counts —two of alleged breaking and entering/ one of - breaking and entering and theft, and one of being in possession of house-breaking implements. The accused was brought before the Court in the afternoon, and remanded. Complete arrangements are being made for the holding 01. the Chautauqua gathering here.
