PERIOD OF EXCLUSION.
(By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock LONDON, Nov. 13. In the House of Commons, an amendment was moved to the Aliens Bill, to exclude former enemy aliens from the "United Kingdom for seven years, instead of the Government's proposed two years. Mr. E. Shortt offered three years as a compromise, and this was carried. A new clause was also carried, prohibiting former enemies from, having TaTerest in British land, key mdustries, or shipping, during the same period. The*STll was carried.
