Herdman as a member of the Executive Council and as Attorney- ; General, and lias accepted the resignation of Sir John Denniston as l a judge of the Supreme Court, i The Gazette also states that 'the Government has appointed the Hon. A. L. Herdman to bo a judge of the Supreme Court.
