PAHIATUA SHOW
AH the arrangements for the IPahiatua show, to he held 01: Friday next, aro complete, and favoured with a fine day the gathering promises to be the most successful in the history of the association. The entries have exceeded all expectations, and in this connection the Pabiatua A. and P. Society can easily claim a record for its ninth annual fixture. The grounds are in splendid order ,and wore never seen to better advantago, while the beautiful piece ? of native bush adjoining tli-i show grounds makes an ideal spot for picnic parties. Visitors should not miss seeing the native bush, some ten acres in extent, which is considered, one of the most (-harming bits of native scenery attached to a show ground in the Dominion. The hush has been delightfully laid out, and its cool and seductive charm, enhanced by its wealth of native foliage, attracts hundreds of picnic parties. Hot water will be dispensed free of charge. Two hands will be present at the show—the Pahiatua District Band and the Awapuni Pipi? Banu—and this strong combination _ of musical talent should lend considerable gaiety to tile gathering.
