SHEARING SHED HANDS
RATS® OF PAY. The following rates of pay for sheaj'ing-shed hands have been agreed to by tho N.Z. Sheepi'armers' and Farnuvs' Fo-dw.atfon and the N.Z. Shearers and Wool'shed. Employees' Association, rospeetiveJy:— (a) Pressors and wool-rollers—when engaged by tho woc-k, £1 15s -per week : raid when not engaged by -the week, Js 2d per hour. (I») All :other shed sliamis—when engaged' by the 'week. £1 Jos per \v<\ck; 'and when niet engaged by the week, Is Id per hour. (c) A prossv' may Oik at a piecework rate 't<> lie agrc-ed on with hs omployer, but s<> that ihe shall in any event be paid not iloss than the minimum bonify rate herein specified for r.ho tiin t , actually worked by him. (d) Cooks. £2 pes' week; cooks' assistants. £1 12s Gd pei - week. (e.) Each, worker shall lie provided with ra.t'ons by his cmployo".
