The second day of the Taranaki Jocky Club's Christmas meeting was held in splendid weather, with a large attendance. The winner of the Fitzroy Hack paid a sensational dividend. Investments on the machine totalled £16,056,. as against £14,313 for the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £37,335 10s, as against £27,625 10s last year—an increase of £4710. The following are the results:—
