GERMAN REVENGE.
AGAINST THE BELGIANS
(Received tlii s morning 1.5 o'clock.) OSTEND, Sept. 1.
An eye-witness states, that natives of Vise, who escaped shooting, are now forced to build the road connecting Vise with Aix-la-Chapele. The Germans are still burning whole streetg in Liege with the slightest provocation, and the Germans recently shot the terrified inhabitants of three burning streets, killing fifteen. In one case a boy .of seven was shot because he pointed a toy gun at the German soldiers. Incidents frequently arise of drunken Germans firing rifles, and accusing the inhabitants. Then the "burning and murdering commences.
