j TOWN HALL PICTURES. To-night will bo the last opportunity that picture patrons will have of Wtitiiessing tho ; current programme at tho Town Bail. That tho star film "Whore tho 'Road Forks" is one of the most delightful dramas ever shown in Masterton was demonstated by tho rounds of applatise from the largo audience last evening. The theme of the picture is as rare as it is clever. It is story of a young girl who- lias to choose between her lover and her ambition, and whilo she is meditating, the spirit of ambition appears to hex and shows her what her futij/re would be if she followed the course of her ambition. Jt holds nothing for her beyond financial success, and on th.o other hand, love brings to hcv happiness and contcntodness. She realises that tho course of true love is the best to follow. Other films included in the" programme are: "Italian Navy of ToDny," "Powers of the Air," and "Tho Ueward." Two splendid comedies aro "Tho Life Savers," and "Between the Showers." There will bo a complete change of piagramme to-mor-row night.

A second special shows Kalem in a striking military episode, "The Raid of the Marauders," which, together with other numbers, completes a series of excellent entertaining powers. To-morrow should see a packed change, when Edison's tlirilling story of the Red, White, and Blue flag of the Motherland shows the desperate ride by "Tommy Brandon,'' the hero of 'the battlefield, to save the colours and His comrades. Entitled "Rorke's Drift." this special promises to be the most exciting and sensational. Some very funny comedies by Keystone are included, and the scries" is a particularly strong one.
