(By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, Last Night.
The Supreme Court opened to-day, before Tudge Denniston. There were only two criminal cases. The Grand Jury threw out a bill against a young man charged with manslaughter. The charge arose as the result of a fight between two young follows at a-'coun-try dance. One fell, and died in a few minutes. The medical evidence, showed that he had an ususually thin skull. In the other case, James Down was found guilty of the theft of about £23 from the Tokapo Hotel. Being Tits first offence, a light sentence of four months was imposed.
