STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. Masterton, report having heldJ>heu usual fortnightly sale at Taiatahi on Monday, 31st inst. There was the usual attendance, and a medium varding of stock, which met with i air competition and realised the following prices:—Fat ewes and wethers, 18s 4d; fat and forward hoggets. 10s 8d: forward empty ewes, Us 2d; medium B.F. hoggets, 12s; store cows lis; forward spring heafers, £o 1/s 6d; spring heifers, £4 ss, £4 17s 6d to £5; empty 2-yr heifers, £3 13s; 2-yr steers, £4 16s 6d; yearling heifers, 265. A fat spring lamb, first of season, sold on account of Carterton War Fund and donated by Master Stuart Campbell, realised £4 after being sold several times.
