'LARGE PEARL DISCOVERED

A large pearl, of the value of £ll,000, belonging to Mr Mayer's famous necklace, which was stolen, the stones, with the exception of three, being subsequently recovered has been mysteriously traced and recovered under cir•cumstances that have not "been divulged. z
A SECRET. VALUE OF THE NECKLACE. (Received Feb. 26, 10 a..m.) LONDON, Feb. 25. The insurance assessors have recovered three of the pearls of the Mayer recklaee. They are valued at £12,000. Their recovery was the result of negotiations with persons whose identity wa,s kept secret; A pearl valued at £4OOO, which Borne lost in a bar-room, and a diamond clasp, are alone missing. Mr Mayer now values the necklace at £150.000.
