Our Own Correspondent. A little inconvenience is being caused among the pig-raisers here through curing operations in the factories being at a standstill. The party of Woodville sports who had a gcood day amolng the rabbits last Sunday, did not apparently neglect the demijohn. The result of their attention to the latter was to make a hideous hooting uproar at every residence passed l by. The young people who were given a treat on Thursday, when Mr J. Goodgame kindly brought along his lantern and a large number of slides, which were much appreciated by young and old. The weather has again taken up, and shearing is being pushed ahead with the greatest despatch.
