On Friday, October 3rd, the Masterton Y.M.C.A.. physical culture and gymnasium, classes will give their annual display, which promises to ba equal to any of. those given in previous years.. Ever since the local association, with. Mr R. O. Jarrett as instructor, opened up physical work, these functions have been eagerly looked forward-to by the Masterton public. The Town Hall last year was' packed to overflowing,, and visiting physicar culture competitors asserted that they had never ,seen better."if equal, displays In an v of the cities M of the Dominion.. This year gives, promise of being, equally as good. The various, classes are well forward with their work. The ladiesv in particular, are to," be complimented on; the excellent manner in which they have progressed this, season. The, instructors (Messrs Jarrett and A. E. Williams), have reason; ta,he*pleasecf with the progress the ,1913 classes' have made. Much new work in massed drill and marches will be introduced at the display..
