A ROYAL FUNERAL.
A SIMPLE CEREMONY. (Received Last Night, 11.20 o'clock.) BERLIN, Sept. 22. Princess Sofia's funeral at Heidelberg was of the simplest character. Her father broke down during the service, falling prostrate on the coffin, and embracing it. The remains were borne in the dusk to the crematorium. There were dense crowds of sympathisers. Although Bleichroder arrived unattended at the funeral, the family were not willing that he should appear.
