SPLENDID INDUCEMENTS TO _ SETTLERS. (Receive' 1 Last Night, 9.2-5 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, February 5. ■Conflicting opinions have been formed, from time to time, regarding the Northern Territory of Australia, and the latest comes from Mr Williams, Avho has visited the North on behalf of _ Welsh settlery in Patagonia. Mr Williams states that the "whito man's" ' country in the Northern' Territory is within the monsoonal area, and so is not subject to; drought. Never in the history of British colonisation, he says, have such inducements been offered to Avhite settlers as in Northern Australia. <
